Dr. Hamed Hanafi

Dr. Hanafi is an electrical engineer and holds a PhD in biomedical engineering. His area of expertise is technology related to respiratory diagnosis, monitoring and therapy. He is trained in the commercialization of medical devices, has innovated in multiple startup med-tech companies and holds (or has pending) multiple patents in the field of lung health. Dr. Hanafi founded NovaResp in 2016 and has been able to leverage a minimal amount of private equity with grants to reach the current stage of the company.

The Farmers' Truck

The Farmers' Truck is an international social enterprise founded and headquartered in New Brunswick. They empower food security champions all over North America to start a mobile farmers' market in their community.

Trailway Brewing

In late 2018  Trailway purchased the 57-year-old Bowl-A-Drome from its original owner, the oldest continuously owned bowling alley in North America, to keep the bowling spirit alive on the northside of Fredericton.  Both fouunders grew up on the northside, sothey knew the significance of the bowling alley within the community, each of them having fond memories of going there as children, youth, and into adulthood.  Renovating it and rebranding it as The Drome, they sought to bring in a younger audience and rekindle the love of the sport into the community


threesixfive's mission statement is "building community through creativity." They're constantly trying to learn how to better serve the community. The agency supports a number of causes through pro-bono work including The Black Atlantic Experience, A Home of Their Own, and have raised money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada and Movember.
